Man Alive! presents "Altered Beast", a selection of three of Animosity's most ripping tracks from the album "Animal", twisted up and remixed by Berlin's premiere breakcore musician Aaron Specter aka Drumcorps. The collaboration makes for some of the hardest hitting and most truly unique music in the extreme music genre. These songs will be exclusively released through Man Alive! on 10 inch vinyl with mind blowing visual psychedelia provided by John Lause. This record is an artistic masterpiece with four limited color combinations and a raindow foil stamped B side:
We have 20 copies of the 'Moldy Cheese' configuration (limited to 400 copies) on half & half cokebottle green & white vinyl.
"Its the most amazing vinyl i have ever seen, honest!" (man alive!)

"In
the '80s the Belgian underground scene revolved round new wave, electro
and body music (Front 242, Neon Judgement, The Klinik), and I followed
it religiously."
The love of electronic music was to strongly
colour CJ's production career, which began in the mid '80s. Someone
sent R&S a tape recorded from a radio show he did. They liked it
and invited him to check out the R&S lab. The next five years where
the most pleasurable and productive ones of my career."
A second
album for R&S was to follow - '95's 'Electronic Highway' - but by
late 1994, CJ had already left R&S to sign an exclusive 5-album
deal with Internal/Polygram.

*Three days of world class live acts and DJ's right on the razors edge* BANG FACE AND THE GREAT FIRE OF ROME
And....
Yes.... BANG FACE will be at Glade again this year hosting the Friday
night in the Overkill tent.. We know you want it and you can have it...
Here's the thing...
Bang
Face, the founders of Neo-Rave, return for their third adventure into
the psychedelic wonderland that is the Glade Festival :)
The
World's first official Neo-Rave commemorating the Great Fire of Rome
which broke out in the Circus Maximus on this day in A.D. 64.
Just like Emperor Nero we'll keep playing the fiddle while all around us burns... RAVE THEME: WHEN IN ROME - Come dressed in ancient Roman garb... As Gladiators, Emperors, Roman Gods, Slaves, in Togas or as beasts of the Colosseum ;)
Hoonboy has been travelling about again, this set was recorded live on 7th June 2008, at the Thimbleberry Festival.
If you get the chance to see Hoonboy you'll be treated to a full on assault, always improving his set and adding ever more surprising tech/gadgets, every set is unique (and so far - slammin).
Ever wondered what Fleetwood Mac would sound dubstep style? Well click below to find out!
Yup it's the video for the 'White Witch Dub' mash - my goddess that took way too long! Fleetwood Mac obsessives might know why this was a complete witch to do...answers on a broomstick to... ;-)
White Witch Dub (Fleetwood Mac - Rhiannon vs Skream - Dub Period - apols to both!)
First heard in it's original form on Skip to the End, this is quite
a different sort of boot from [timbearcub] - dubby, moody and atmospheric; and
about a mythological Welsh (Dub) Queen...with a lot of dubby production
from [timbearcub], with some help from that Skream bloke
Bashout mysteriously disappeared after its own first birthday party last
year, maybe the pressure finally took its toll, maybe you cant make that much
noise and not be affected, maybe it just needed to step outside for a sly
smoke...
Now, after a gap year spent avoiding crowded places and regaining its
dignity, Bashout returns to Bristol's mighty Black Swan this summer to spew forth
another torrent of deep, dark and deadly soundwaves.

bong ra & mc mike redman [special ‘10 years of bong ra’ set - live]
The legendary Dutch producer headlined the first Toxic Dancehall 5 years
ago and has consistently rinsed Bristol on his various visits and we are
pround to have him back to celebrate his 10 years of releases with a special
set featuring Mc Redman.
Recent releases on Planet Mu and Mindbender join classics such as Junglist,
which was released on Bong Ra’s label Clash in 2003. We’ve been lovers of FFF
as long as Bong Ra and its criminal that we haven’t had him over sooner.
Autopsy has, in no way quietly, been releasing a constant stream of
awesome music over the last couple of years ranging from all out gabba to
raging drum’n’bass. He is one of our favourite ‘new’ artists and his style
suits Bashout to the core.
A new project featuring the audio talents of Ronin and visual artistry of
Influssi, Putsch combines for a full AV live show that promises to rock and
dazzle in equal proportions. Their Bristol debut is not to be missed.
Involved with Bashout from the start, Randomoidz steps up for his first
solo performance. Expect all manner of late night nuttiness from the bearded
one.
bashout allstars [resident badmen]
A feverish four way between Alkemy, Ironside, Judge Fudge and Nick Noisy to
bump-start Bashout again.
Rag’n’Bone’s male half has been djing since the now sprawling dance music
culture began in England. These days he rubs breaks, steps and bass into the
dirt on his epic dj sets and weighty vinyl releases.
Bristol debut for the twitchy 8-bit 4/4 machinations of 3d!t continuing the fine
Bashout tradition of live unpure techno.
arsequake [the blast]
Coming with a extra-tuff selection especially for Bashout. The irrepressible
Blast boys take on the mantle of Arsequake and lay down some off-the-Richter
ghetto tech.
stylatron [fire]
Big hot bashy vibes from the Fire head honcho to set the black swan ablaze.
davey t [dissident]
Kicking the night of with the best ragga breaks around the dissident sound
craftsman is off the drawing board and back on the decks.
p.r.a.n.k. dancehall clearout
What would Bashout be without the last hour bump’n’grind sweatbox session
upstairs. Expect all the classic P.R.A.N.K. selections to come out once more and
maybe even some stuff you aint heard yet!
back room: the bashout lectures
audio and visual edutainment,
special dj sets, powerpoint displays & more...

United States of Audio is well known for his
eclectic and creative DJ mixes, which have been featured on numerous radio shows
worldwide including Coldcut’s legendary Solid Steel show and Hamburg's Back to
the Basics. Based in the city of Bristol, UK he plays out regularly in the
city's bars and clubs as well as making guest appearances at nights around the
UK. Refusing to be pigeon-holed into one genre he likes to mix things up a bit
on the decks so expect to hear funk, hip-hop, electronica, ska, reggae, dub,
rock, soul, disco, electro and everything else in between!
United States of Audio started DJ-ing whilst still
at school. His passion for hip hop began sometime before that when a friend
introduced him to De La Soul’s classic album ‘3 Feet High and Rising’ back in
the late 80s. After finally being able to afford some decks, he cut his teeth
producing countless mixtapes and playing at numerous parties in and around his
hometown of Southampton. He’s come a long way since then and as his skills have
developed so has his diverse record collection!
